2017 Coach Supported Events - Adults

TVTC has put together an exciting line up of coach supported events for 2017! We realize there are many many races from which to choose in any given year. Our TVTC Tri Season Training is geared toward our TVTC Team Events each year. We highly recommend registering for the TVTC Team Events. We have included all distances of races, including "On Your Way" races like run races and other smaller tri distance and/or specific focus races to practice skills and round out the season.

TVTC Team Events are coach supported events where you will see and race with a large group of your teammates. Our TVTC Tri Season Training has periodization and focus toward these events. Each year we try to keep a few of the races from the last season, and mix in a few new ones while allowing a sprint, an Olympic and a half distance in the same time period. We also don't want too many races. Racing every weekend does not allow for adequate training, and the coaches cannot be at practices and at races.

You are welcome and encouraged to do other races throughout the year. However, the training may not reflect the timing or periodization of your race, and racing with your team is just more fun! If you are already registered for other races for the 2017 Tri Season, are planning to move to a new distance, or our training times/schedule are not the right match for your training, work or family schedule this year, we recommend our TVTC Personal Coaching plans. They are customized to fit your training and life needs, as well as support.

If you are a seasoned triathlete, we recommend one of two tracks: the half IM track, with 4 specific races throughout the season. Or, the speed track, geared toward high performance racing in the sprint and Olympic distances.

If you are new to the sport and/or new to our team, we recommend the Welcome to the Team TVTC Experience package. This program is designed for those new to the sport of triathlon, and/or new to our team. It will lay out the basics and fundamentals of tri training that you will want and need for a safe, fun, successful career. We want triathlon to be part of your life, not take it over! And, for you to enjoy the racing AND the training. This 12 week series has a Weekly Education Email spotlighting a triathlon training topic and logistics of training.
